I broke up with the guy I love so much. Did i do the right thing?

First of all, how could you be the cause of everything wrong in "his" life. I don't know his situation but he makes his own decisions in his life. Him having no confidence is his problem, he needs to seek help for himself before he blames you. He sounds like he is insecure and wants to blame someone. Since you are the closes, he chooses you. I think you did the right thing. I never understood why ladies like to stay with a guy who treats them like crap. He is a baby, let his mom take care of him.
