What does america think of british teens?

here in the uk teenagers (not all) are hooligans and if you've seen shows like "sun, sex and suspicious parents", "young dumb and living off mum" or "underage and having sex" america must think our youth are terrible... or do they believe the way british characters are painted on their tv shows you know the "posh and polite" british youth what do you think?
