Isn't it about time England changes her law against squatters?

What sort of society do we live in when anyone can take over houses that are unoccupied that belong to a private individual? These pests seem to be growing in our society and soon we will be prisoners in our own homes, afraid to go out in case some hooligans take over our property. We will soon not be able to go on holiday because of this fear.
