Landlord knew about her but didn't tell us can we get out of contract?

Get out of the contract with your LL and then rent an apartment. This lady doesn't want anyone else in the house. Things will just get worst. I'm sure the LL will not want you or her out. Its a loss of income for him. Good luck.
